What is POsH?

POsH is the Prevention of Homelessness Consortium and it co-ordinates partnership working between the many agencies which provide advice, accommodation and support services for homeless people in Watford. Members are from statutory bodies, voluntary organisations and local Registered Social Landlords.

Our homeless clients represent a wide range of situations.  They may be rough sleeping, or living in temporary accommodation such as hostels and refuges.  Others are 'sofa surfing' among family and friends, or they can be at risk of losing a home which they rent or own.  They come from all backgrounds and may have a variety of medical, financial, relationship or dependecy issues.  POsH works with clients to deal with their problems as well as seeking accommodation.
